I saw this parked in my neighbors driveway so I grabbed my camera and struck up a conversation with its owner. He purchased it over the summer and just got it on the road about a month ago. Its one of the raw models with a dump option. His restoration plans include lots of chrome, custom paint job, but maintaining the look of the original dashboard. He figures it will take him 2-3 years.
I find myself inspired by the work of others. This is a commitment to myself to improve my photographic skills by posting a photograph a day. 2009 was my 365 year but I find this the perfect motivator to pick up my camera on a daily basis. I continue my quest of making better photographs and focus my efforts on off camera flash.

The Old Salt
My daughter and I went to visit the University of New Hampshire. On the way we stopped to eat in the town of Hampton, NH. A picturesque New England small town if ever there was one.

Autumn HRD
I’m still challenged with the HDR processing. The orange/red saturation is just a bit too much for my taste. Yes I could have fixed it with Photoshop, but I left it this way to remind myself that I still have so much to learn.

Our Maple Tree
It's finally turned. Autumn is holding on due to the mild temperatures we've been experiencing for past few weeks.

Wheat Stalks
These were part of a bouquet of flowers I gave my wife. I shot in a darkened room and lit it with a single strobe behind and below the subject. I held a bounce card above the subject to redirect light onto the front of the three strands.
