St. Raphael

My first attempt to do HDR with Photoshop, I normally use Photomatix.  I should have used a daylight subject for my first attempt.

1932 Cadillac 452B V16

I struck up a conversation with this gentleman and was glad that I did.  He purchased it used when he returned from WWII.  He's parked it in a garage since the day he got it and drives it at least once a week.

Hot Rods

I went to a car show today and came home with a stack of great shots, making todays selection a real challenge.

Point Lookout

My wife and I went to the beach to catch the sunset.  It wasn't anything special, but this was.

I was shocked to see how big they are when you get up close to them, 30 feet.

The Watering Hole

We went for a hike in the woods and stopped at this spot.  Back in the corner where the sun is beating on the rocks the stream is 5ft deep.   The dogs absolutely loved it, especially Sandy, our Golden Retriever.

The Kissing Bridge

In Ticonderoga NY.  The surveillance camera was a bit disconcerting and a real romance buster.

Lake George

Credit goes to my wife for taking these.  But she used my camera, does that count for anything?

Lady Liberty

The original.  Taken on Friday during the photo walk.  Its was a hazy, hot, and humid day with nothing but gray skies.
This is after hours of photoshopping.  Critical feedback welcomed!   I need to learn an easier way to generate layer masks.

Trinity Church

Originally built in 1696, destroyed by fire in 1776 and rebuilt in 1790.

Some friends from Washington State are in town for a few days so I took them on a photo walk of lower Manhattan.

The 7 Train

The white balance was tricky with this because of the lighting on the platform. Even processing the raw file kept me guessing at what was correct.

Sunset
