Last night we had a fast moving cold front come through that dropped hail the size of M&M Peanut candies for a couple of minutes. The pelting on the roof of the house sounded like pea gravel being dumped into an empty aquarium. It was unnerving at best. I'm glad I wasn't driving when it happened. It was too painful to attempt getting better shots.
Interesting... when I first looked at this picture, the ice looked like little bubbles. Cool.
